Terms of Service

EventPhotoVideoSF is a booking marketplace operated by Bayhaus Creative in San Francisco. We connect you with independent photo and video professionals, and our studio edits and delivers the work.

Your price is one number, quoted per 2-hour session and rounded up to whole sessions. It covers your professional’s time on the day, studio editing of everything they shoot, and the replacement guarantee. Any video add-on you choose is priced in the booking form and joins that one number before you pay, so the figure on your order summary is the figure your card sees.

A booking is paid in two parts, and you see both before you agree to either. Your deposit is charged when you book, and refunded in full if your date is not confirmed within 24 hours. Your deposit is 30% of your price. The balance is the rest. We send a secure link for the balance once your finished work is ready to approve. Every payment runs through Stripe, and your booking page shows where each one stands.

A professional has 24 hours from your booking to confirm the date. Once that window passes without a confirmation, we close the booking and refund your deposit in full to the card you paid with, and you are welcome to book another date or another professional any time. The same full refund applies when a professional declines the date. Refunds are issued through Stripe and usually land back on your card within 5 to 10 business days, on your bank’s schedule.

You keep your deposit as credit toward a new date when you cancel a confirmed booking more than 72 hours ahead, and you can move a date once at no charge with the same notice. Inside 72 hours of a confirmed event, your professional has held the day for you and the deposit is kept. Our Cancellation Policy sets out every case, and it forms part of these terms.

Each professional is an independent business that sets its own rate, uses its own equipment, and may accept or decline any job. We vet them, carry their insurance certificates on file, keep a backup professional on standby for every booking, and stand behind the result through our replacement guarantee.

You own the final photos and video we deliver for your booked use. We may show a small selection of event work as portfolio samples unless you ask us in writing not to.

Our total responsibility for any booking is capped at the amount you paid for that booking. We are glad to make things right within the guarantee above.
