Celebrating 25 years of Processing!
Gray Area and TIAT are teaming up for Processing Community Day San Francisco!
We’ll host talks and workshops at the Grand Theater on October 3, 2026 from 1 – 6pm. We’re celebrating 25 years of Processing, a creative coding library and platform that has inspired thousands of creative technologists, artists, and programmers around the globe.
Join us to hear more about what people are making with Processing and p5.js!

- Workshops:
- 1 – 3 PM - Led by: Charlotte McElwain and Ivan Zhao - Lightning Talks:
- 4 – 5:30 PM - Featuring: Fabian Fabro, Connie Ye, Aung Nyein Chan (Enchax), Tiantian Xu, Carey J. Flack, and Nidhi Sinha. Workshops:
Introduction to libprocessing Led by Charlotte McElwain
Working with [Variable] Type in p5.js Led by Ivan Zhao
Event Logistics:
Workshops and talks are open to all ages. Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by a parent.
Workshop attendees should bring their own laptops.
Workshops will take place in the classroom and are not ADA accessible.
Talks will be seated in the theater.
