About this event

Have anxiety about your taste? Tired of slop? We have the cure 💊

Join us Tuesday, November 10, at tiat in downtown San Francisco for Culture Slop LIVE!, the Season One finale.

Five talks from people shaping how tech feels. Some you met in Season One, some are a preview of ideas forming around Season Two (Spring 2027).

Between talks: conversation, drinks, and the Taste Gallery, an edible still life where gastronomy assumes sculptural forms, built around our word of the year: taste.

With support from the Department of Anthropology and a Culture Forward grant from the Svane Family Foundation.

Talks

- The Geometry of Luck: A Design Philosophy by Soleio (Designer & Investor) - Artist-Made Hardware: Against The Technology Monoculture by Nick Susi (Writer & Researcher) and VÉRITÉ (Artist) - Acquired Taste by Dylan Abruscato (President, TBPN) + Andrew McClintock (Founder, Culture Slop) - How to Feel the AGI by Tyler Mincey (Co-Founder & GP, Baukunst) and Toby Shorin (Researcher in Residence, Baukunst) - Building a Machine Beautiful Enough for a Soul by Eugenia Kuyda (Founder & CEO, Wabi)
