This double-lecture by Benjamin Bratton and Marek Poliks explores how the coming world of trillions of agents and fully automated agentic systems will reconfigure society.

Benjamin Bratton presents Agentworld, a new Antikythera research unit which investigates new frameworks for understanding, modeling and composing the medium-term future of hybrid human-AI societies.

Marek Poliks presents Superdark Factory, a Disintegrator project published as part of the Agentworld Special Issue in the Antikythera Journal. Superdark Factory takes up the future of software production once the human sits outside the loop in fully-automated agentic systems.

Benjamin Bratton is a philosopher of technology. He is Professor of Philosophy of Technology at the University of California, San Diego.
